Married age for girls

Dear Sir,
Please assist me. My age is 26, My father decided do marriage for me in March-17 and booked marriage hall also. Girl is my sister daughter, girl is ready to marry me since she love me and even i love her but she will complete age 17.6 months by March17. I told my father she is minor it will create problems if somebody informed to police station but my father is not ready to listen whatever it said. If something goes wrong it will creat bad impression on me with my friends, colleagues in entire friends circle. Am very scared since am like very sensitive about my reputation.

Request you to give best solutions for this.

marriage is illegal and can lead you in rape charges.

if not permitted in your social custom then marriage with niece is also illegal.

Thank you sir for most valuable response. I spoke with my father he says it doesn't happen in village areas and girl age is 17.6 . But my personal request If govt officials comes and stops my marriage and me and my girl given statement like we agreed for marriage will they harm me (boy) legally.

Whats wrong in waiting for 6 months?
Even your father forces you to get married with a minor girl, the action shall be taken against you and also your parents.
Tell your father to follow the law or go to jail.

Even if the govt officials come to know later still you can be arrested alongwith all relatives who participated in marriage.

Further cohabitation with this girl after underage marriage can also land you in rape charges alongwith all relatives who participated in marriage.

The priest who performs this marriage can also be booked.
