hello,
please advice me about this trust which is registered as bombay public trust which enjoys exemption under/s 80G of income tax and also recieves the grant in aid for the salary for its employee from state government for the schools and educational institute they run under the trust,although the trust doesn't recieve any other grant as it claims in high court against order of state information commissioner to give the information sought under rti the trust has pleaded for not to give information on the ground that its not recieving any grant other than salary grant
the matter in nagpur is slated on 29-nov-2011.
we are anticipating outcome in our favour

there are enough judgments to support the fact that if any institution is generating any sort of financial aid from the government, whether state or central govt., it will be covered under the purview of RTI Act.
Salary grant is sufficient financial support from the govt., to cover the said institution under the RTI Act.
