meaning of "interest" in immovable property

Dear ld. members,

One of the difference between lease deed and leave & license deed is that "an interest" in not transfer in leave & license deed while the same is transferred in case of lease deed.

My question:

What is the meaning of "interest" in immovable property?

So that I can say see this interest not being transferred in case of eave & license deed while the same is being transferred in case of lease deed.

Interest on Immovable property comprises of:

(a) Mortgage Rights
(b) Stake of ownership
(c) Lease or Tenancy

You matter needs further elaboration to interpret applicability of the concept

One of the important interest in lease of immovable property is "possession". However in the case of leave & Licence case, though a person my reside in the premises, still he will not have the possession with him.
