hello sir(or)madam and thanks in advance for your answers,
i am siva from cuddalore Tamil Nadu and hereditary trustee of group of temples in my village in my village 5 members put a suit against me and my group of temple for interim stay for stop 10 days festival on month of August in my village and they are attaching forgery documents in that suit .the Honorable judge give judgement
"hence and records paused in my view the status quo is granted till disposal of the interim passion"
and the hearing comes on 26-8-2013 but my temple festival starts on 6-8-2013 so i asked police to give me a production to my temple but police asked me the against party got status quo from court so u are not eligible for asking production for temples but i know meaning of status quo and i told that to police but police not accepting my argument because of corruption
so i want to produce the legal meaning of status quo in judgement to the police !where can i get the acceptable law definition of status quo and acceptable by police

Status quo implies to maintain the same position as it was till further order of the court in respect of that.
Read the complete order, speak to your lawyer as to as it will be interpreted in the light of the order.

Maintain status quo means continue in same position, as on date of Petition, till further order.

current practice [every month/ year]festival is covered under Status Quo.
It does not amount to change.

You can never understand meaning of status quo till you do not learn to maintain status quo,i mean stay in old thread.
