Dear Sirs,
please let me know what are the measures to save from a false dowry case (498 a) ??
we just came to know that girl side filed false dowry case against my bro, mom and big bro. Thereafter 5 days hence my bro filed a CP case with sections 323, 341, 379,386, 497 against them (where accused are bro's wife , mother in law and third person who was having relationship with her). The court sent that case for further investigation and that converted into GR . Thereafter supervision made by SP,DSP and IO. After supervision it was found true what my bro filed. And then Second accused got arrested and sent to jail. Till date their false dowry case didn't come into cognizance. What next should we do now ?? Isn't there any problem now na???

Merely because your brother's case has been registered , it does not mean 498A case eased to exist.
if FIR is registered, it is still there and all the accused person named therein should take bail asap.

she was having relationship with other person.. and those persons always kept threatening my bro for money and all.

It was a love marriage and that girl never came to our home ...They kept threatening for money ... and when my bro denied to give they always kept telling that she will made false allegations and send everyone to jail...
when should we apply for bail ??? can we apply for the same before cognizance???

As and when you smell the arrest from the side of the police, apply for AB and move ahead.

How they can come for arrest after proving the reality???
It's proved that their intention was only to take money...
They have made totally false allegations.... and we have proofs...

Sir we filed earlier "vidayi case" to bring her to our home... but that girl always denied to come and never came. Their purpose of marriage was only money. we have filed "sanha" also stating all her reality... we have one recording where she abused my bro....
