Th is not civil dispute but a criminal offence for which the Police has enough sanction of law to investigate and make arrest of the accused persons.

The complaint has been filed before competent authority having proper jurisdiction and so far as defence is concerned, it depends upon factual position. You need to engage your lawyer and cross-examine the witnesses of the complainant minutely so that you all may prove the allegations as false.
