Men are not covered under the domestic violence act, however, depending upon the facts and circumstances it has to be seen if the case comes under any section of IPC. In case of husband and wife if the personal law permits then, it can be a ground for divorce eg. cruelty is a ground under the HMA, Spl.MA etc.
