Model bye laws maharstra cooperative housing society

The model bye laws have been amended.
The question is whether the amended bye laws become applicable to societies from the date of notification or they are effective only when adopted by society through an AGM.

if society has not adopted model bye laws it will continue to be governed by old bye laws adopted by the society . advisable for societies to adopt the latest model bye laws.

Amended law is applicable with prospective effect means from the date of notification and do no depend upon adoption by society. Every society is bound by new/amended law.
