Monthly maintenance charge for flats

Sir,
I own a flat in a building having two types of flats. They are of different proportions. The builder have sold the flat on proportion basis and collected MMC for the initial year on square feet basis. There are some more flats to be sold. Most of them are sold on proportionate basis. However the association without proper voting or consultation is collecting MMC on equal basis.

Is this fare and how can I challenge this case?

see all chahrges are depend upon the area like property tax, insurance premium, sweeper charges etc. so every person is liable to pay maintence on the basis of his area of flat.
Now you can challenge the same by writing to registrar about the unfair practice adopted by society.bharatkothari83@yahoo.co.in

Get other members together with you, represent your case (in writing) before the Managing Committee giving 15-20 days time to rectify charges based on area failing which submit collective representation/petition to the (State) Registrar Cooperative Societies.
