Mothers property

(Querist) 17 November 2014 This query is : Resolved
We have our house registered on our mother name.

My father is having some cheque bounce cases in court; can court claim our house as a penalty?
ROHIT SHARMA (Expert) 17 November 2014
1. Since the house is in the name of the mother then such property cannot be ordered for attachment by the court.
ajay sethi (Expert) 17 November 2014
no mother property cannot be attached by court
Sailesh Kumar Shah (Expert) 17 November 2014
