employer insures his employee under group personal accident, compensation premeium paid by employer. employer paid compensation to the legal representative who dies in a motor vehicle accident . whether this amount paid by the employer under group insurance is liable for deduction under motor vehicle accident .

There is no valuation of one's life. It can be of crores and crores and crores so amount received by way of GIS is not liable for deduction while computing comepnsation payable under MV Act.

its pa compensation which is fixed like 1lakh or 2lakh generally,but in section 166 its depends on income as per income tax may be in lakhs and crores as mr.rajkumar makkad says.so liability does not left by taking insurance this type,not liable to deduct,

I agree with S/Shri Ganesan and Makkad ji. Group Insurance by employer for his employees has nothing to do with the comensation under the MV Act.

Dear Disha, Say for example one is having LIC benefit would it be deducted from MACT amount.No,except that of personal accident insurance and if one gets any compensation under it also the said amount willbe deducted from the MACT amount at the time of award.

no personal accident amount will be claimed in consumer court and not deduct in mact any type of this arguments of insurance advocate is not eligible at all
