What is Hiba? After receiving the share amount in the property shall I get Hiba Release deed in writing from the co owner?

If the.co owner received his share amt and released his right in the property.is it termed as Hiba in the Muhammadan law?

As you mentioned above that he has released his right it is called relinquishment not a Hiba or Gift. Hiba means gift and gift is given because of law and affection without taking any consideration by the transferor.

If before partition of property, one releases his share in your favor, it is relinquishment but after partition it is called Hiba.
