Municipal corporation's enhancement of property tax

The municipal corporation has levyed the tax on property exorbitantly. protest notice is given. what steps are to be taken to fight against it in a court of law and suggest the procedure to be followed

You cannot protest against the rate of tax or that it is in any way exorbitant.

you have stated that property tax has been levied exhorbitantly .

in such a case find out what rate property tax has been levied in respect of similar properties having same amenities constructed on similar period .

if you find property tax levied is exhorbitant you can certianly challenge the same by contending thata ssessable value of property fixed is high
