Mutation and name change

I am tenant of complete floor I wish to pay tax for property which I am using I wish to have name on the tax receipt to prove myself that I am paying the tax regular and in time to show the owner.....can I pay in my name or how can I change name from owner of the property to my name while paying tax...reply

you are mere tenant not the owner of property . property tax receipt will be given in name of owner only .

Property tax receipt is issued in the name of the owner. It accepted, you can deposit tax by your cheque to show that this tax was paid from your account.

If you want to prove that you have been taxes regularly, make the property tax payment through a cheque or DD which will confirm your remittance.
