Mutual agreement of partition of land property

I am co-share holder of a land property of my mother. My mother has transfer her land property to her three sons equally executing one single Gift Deed. I want to get my share of land separated. I we all three brothers make a Mutual Agreement on a stamp paper duly prepared & witnessed by an Advocate, shall it be valid in the eyes of law ?

YES, iT IS VALID AS PER LAW. BOTH GIFT DEED AND YOUR SEPARATING FROM YOUR MOTHER'S JOINT SHAREHOLDING.OR Joint ownership

It is preferable that the agreement is registered. However, the arrangement would hold good if mutation could be got carried out on the strength of the agreement.
