My advocate cheated me

I'm Anu n want some help or advive. Coz we r trapped in to the dowry case and my advcote has taken all the money n taken guaranty to get bail( for etc) in tree hearing and if he didn't then he'll return our money but now when ever i ask him about money he talk so rubbishlly n disconncet my call. So pls kindley tel me wat action i can take aginst him n to take my money back

Dear Anonymous,
It is quite naive of you to think that an Advocate will get bail for you either in 3 hearings or any number of hearings. After all, an Advocate can only plead your case and not guarantee the bail. To grant Bail or not is in the hands of the Judge hearing the matter. Therefore, to expect the Advocate would return the money to you - when Bail is not granted seems to be little odd. The Advocate is definitely entitled to his fee for appearance in the bail matter. If any balance amount after adjusting his fee is available, yes, you can try to get the same.
