My husband absconding after 1 month of marriage after harassing me for dowry and throwing me out of marital home. I entered marital home again by running inside the home when they tried to stop me and staying there. FIR is filed with police. But they taking no action after FIR. Police is saying it will take 1 year to file charge sheet. Husband absconded, only in-laws in marital home. Police only send notice to husband to my marital home address. But somehow husband knows about the notice and appeared in police station and applied for AB. In police station husband given written statement that he is living with girl friend but gave marital home address. I asked police they are saying they cannot do anything. When he comes to second investigation without AB, I requested police to arrest him but police take no action saying SC ordered not to arrest husband and also telling they cannot ask his real address. From police station I started following my husband to know his address but my husband called police and say she is coming behind me and police pulled my hand and kept me in police station for half a day and forcing me to give in writing that I wont follow or message or call my husband. I said I wont give anything in writing and called my parents to police station. My father came and shouted at police and they left me. ours is a love marriage and I quit job after marriage so parents are not supporting much to stay with husband. Now husband filed petition with the same police station stating harassment from wife and asking me to vacate the marital home. Police is asking me to write apology letter telling you filed FIR against your husband and now dont talk to him. Please experts guide me:

Is it illegal to follow husband to find his address?I am staying in his own house and he is living with someone somewhere unknown.
How to legally get his address? You told that yours is love marriage, why did he run away within one month?
Why do you complain to police and insisted to create FIR.
These questions depict that you are hiding something or you are misguided by somebody.
Police wont arrest him normally. Dont try to make him arrested.
If really you want to live with him, initiate steps for compromise. forgive and be forgiven. Let live and live.

He is having affair with a girl even before marriage. I am not hiding anything or have no need to hide anything in a forum where I want answers. He married me so that he will get something from my parents' side but they strictly said no to give anything to this guy as my father suspected this guy right from the beginning when I talked about this guy. I didnt listen to my parents and didnt even think he has agenda right here. They pushed me out of marital home at 8pm in the night, where else should I go if I cant complaint. That means a husband guy can do anything and wife should stay like a pet dog if she wants to live with him. Dont wives have any dignity. He has openly given in written statement that in police station that he is living with his girlfriend but falsely giving marital home address and I suspect 2 girls but I dont know which one. If he can do anything just because he is man then are women second grade citizens in this country and if they want to live with dignity they have to put up with whatever the husband guy does. My question is "Is there any law which can be used to file FIR against wife if she follows husband?" ..

Thanks for the advice. I am not in Chennai, its a small town Eraiyur near Villupuram. Is it illegal or criminal offence to follow husband in India? I can't come out of this house, If I do I will be locked out. And I can't roam around and find a job with no place to stay or no food to eat. First I need a place of residence where I need not fear every minute that I will be thrown out and some proper food to eat. I am using neighbor's open wifi. Will that become a problem? If this night I get locked out, where should I stay? I have uploaded my resume in job portals, till now I havent got any call. If I go out for attending job interview and when I return if they lock me out then what legal action I can take that will ensure I dont have to spend some nights on the street or some hotels.

a. Approach all women police station to lodge a formal complaint on bigamy as without getting divorce he can not.
b. If dowry is really asked you can file on that count also. But if not real better not harass.
c. Consult a women lawyer specialized in your area to take the right step and with the support of women activists of your area to get the right justice.

As a Contracts manager, perhaps Mr. Krishna Mohan thinks as if searching of an absconding husband is also a matter of contracts management!

Mr. Krishna Mohan seems to have decided to complicate the issue somewhat more than Mr. Doab has done by advising to the extent, "Approach ALL women police station to lodge a formal complaint."

So, according to him, you can start roaming around ALL the women police stations of the country and start lodging your complaints one after the other in all the cities of India. OF COURSE, GOOD JOKE ON HIS PART!

However, you will be fully justified, if you ask Mr. Krishan Mohan to confirm that you can lodge a missing person complaint in ALL police stations, under which section of law and with what result?

Mr.Dhingra has no right to comment on others expertise and knowledge. If we do then it will be never ending process and throwing mud on each other.

He can however improve the content to provide that clarity to the queriest as observed in this thread. I stand corrected to the extent of making complaint to be made in All Women Police station and not all police station as they are specialized to handle such cases. It is a typo error.

If you feel your your own eyes have blinded completely, you may better ask Mr. Krishna Mohan, whether he is a Contracts Manager or has some other status in his own organization. Now from my last post, you can realize for yourself, how the imposter Kumar Doab has tried to drag your name to raise a controversy even over his own supporter just to evade from replying about his real identity.

The irony is, whenever someone tries to come to his support or rescue, he tries to drag that fellow extensively in to the controversy, like he has tried to drag your name. He writes senselessly even by deliberately ignoring the visual facts, as in your own case, he has conveniently tried to ignore your own stated facts stated by you in your own profile.

SIMILAR ARE THE STORIES WITH Mr. Rajendra K. Goyal and Sudhir Kumar, as he referred their names in his statement, i.e., "PSD has repeatedly attacked Mr.Sudhir Kumar, Mr.Rajendra K Goyal."

You will be surprised to know, at one time Kumar Doab used to whole-heartedly appreciate the views, opinions and counseling of P S Dhingra (me) on several issues, as you can see from the following threads

Now, since he has been exposed appropriately, when not coming forward with his real identity on even asking for more than hundred times, he has started abusing me.

Irrespective of your open support for Kumar Doab, I CAN BET, he won't oblige even you, if you ask him to come out with his real identity with his real name, photo and location in his profile at LCI.

WHY NOT TEST HIM BY ASKING HIM TO REVEAL HIS REAL IDENTITY WITH PHOTO TO KNOW HOW SINCERE HE IS TOWARDS YOU?

What a fun filled post by the imposter Kumar Doab, when he says, "Indian Media is airing serials in which character goes to others and requests to give IT ; SLAPS (Thappar, Tamachaa), KICKS ( THUD), Electric Shocks, Boxes ( Mukka) and then thanks everyone says 'I Like it'.

A pertinent question arises, what relevance of this post has with the problem of the querist or my questions, or doubt about his fake identity?

Apparently the post proves, as if he has gone berserk, when he does not find any answer to my questions, but wants to evade on one hand and also fulfill his chronic ill desire of making multiple posts!

It is true that we have been posting appreciations and encouragements for each other.

I have been always gentle and respectful to one and all; fellow experts, members, querists/authors, Admin of LCI.

IT=@PSD has been downloading all such attachments,illustrations, and storing these in IT's computers.

IT=@PSD has been abusing me even in those threads in which NO one had even posted after the querist's 1st post.

It is known to one and all that I have ignored IT=@PSD in unlimited number of threads, but IT has been abusing me in dead of night ( time to sleep) early morning (5am) and whole day.

IT=@PSD has been doing it with one and all for years and IT's condition has worsened in last 15-16 months, to irreparable.

LCI is IT's bait.

Even those websites where Ex. Experts of LCI have joined won't accept IT=@PSD. Everyone knows IT's habitual abuse and insatiable itch and urge to litter nuisance.
