Name in property registration

Hi,
I have one query regarding the name in property registration.
My wife name is Namita Gupta and her PAN card & Passport is made with the same name. We have applied for the passport for name change to Namita Agrawal.
For change in PAN card we will apply by today.
Now we are purchasing a flat in Navi Mumbai, where in registration we want to put the new name. But by the time of registartion her new PAN card will not be delieverd.
Can we still put the new name in property registration with Old PAN card alongwith PAN changed acknowledgement and new Passport?
Please suggest.

wait for new pan card to be delivered in name of namita agarwal . then apply for registration . please note that registration can be done within 4 months of execution of agreement between parties

But our seller won't be able to hold till that.
Also in my case there will be two registration: 1. Sale Deed (Stamp Duty will be paid at 1st deed) and 2. Final Registration.
Can Registrar will accept.

You can use alias by using both names if the seller cannot hold the deal till the issuance of the PAN Card.
