Nattam survey

Dear sir/ madam,

I have one land from my village. This land is nattam survey land. Now I build a one small home( Last month ). Now I want to a property tax of my home. After that I can get EB connection. Village clerk and president not make a property tax, if I ask property tax they are asking 15% of cast of land. I don’t have any document of this land. Because we are using above 32 years .

Question ;

1. How I get a property tax of my home?
2. if I did not get a property tax government what will do in future?
3. how I make a record of this land?

your name should be reflected in the property card . without proper ownership documents you wont get property tax bill in your name

Natham lands mean village poramboke lands kept for house constructions... You are using for over 32 years and now you had built a house...You will not have any Patta or Title deeds for this land ...

You can contact your local Advocate who will guide you regarding house tax.... There are earlier judgements on these type of lands... Tell your Advocate to refer previous legal decisions reflected in The Executive Officer vs V.Swaminathan on 30 April, 2004 and Syed Abdul Jabbar vs The Executive Officer on 6 September, 2010
