Necessary to follow company's contract

Hi, I am working as a accountant in KPO co. At the time of joining co. has signed some contract with me. In that contract they have also mentioned that i can't leave job suddenly. If you will co. will file case against you in a court. You will have to give leaving notice (resignation letter) to a company before 3 months ago. Now i want to know that if i won't follow this contract term, will co. be liable for filing case against me?

The company is free to file the suit for damages as per contract.

you are bound by the contract. If you violate, you have to pay damages to the company.

Yes!why not.Company can sue you if you do not observe the 3 months pre notice period.It may also not relieve you on that very score alone.If stipulated in contract then loosing three month salary as damages paying to company job can be resigned.

Rightly advised by the experts. You are bound by the contract and in the event of violation of terms and conditions of the contract, the company can initiate legal proceedings against you for damages.
