Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 03 March 2011 This query is : Resolved
Hi All,

What documents/permissions are required for selling a flat purchased on my and wife's name 3 yrs back.

Wife expired 2 years back.

I have a minor 7 year old daughter.

Daughter is adopted with all legal formalities completed long back.

Thanks and Regards,

I am not getting one opinion/one solution to this.

I am being told about:
1) Succession Certificate
2) Letter of Administration
3) Sale Certificate
4) Guardian and Wardship Act

Not sure which is the way to go, how can I sell the property? Which law will be applicable?

No those are not required at least for the sale of the flat.
You have to simply get a permission from the principal court oF original civil jurisdiction of your locality to sell the half share of the minor's in the said flat. For the other half share of yours ,you need no permission from any corner.

You need to be the querist or approved LAWyersclub expert to take part in this query .
