R/s Sir, I have passed my gradution in 2012 but there was a mistake in my final year marksheet,so i went to my university regarding the correction but there the university staff told me to give him the money regarding the correction and i refused to give him and there was a long arguement between me and the university staff,i also told him some abusive words. But now i am afraid that can this incident make me in trouble by thinking that can the staff tamper the marklist of my college where the marks of all students are written by making a new marklist where my name will be omitted,and which results to me in problem in future.
Also while verifying my record in job,can they prove that i was never the student of either this university or respective college.
How can i prove myself there?

Serve them with a legal notice.
If there is some fault on the part of University, then they cannot charge any fee from you, unless its provided by any statute.

Your query is vague you hve not described what type of mistake was there.
further NEVER ABUSE A BRIBE SEEKER if you do so you cannot get him arrested red handed.

send registered letters to University every week for correction of the Mistake. Always keep certified copy of the old Mark sheet if the original is required to be submitted. write to the vice chancellor and Registrar of the University for correction.
Corruption is deep rooted, but you have no right to abuse any body.
