Nmdcase - supremecourt causelists

(Querist) 12 October 2013 This query is : Resolved
IN SC daily causelist, earlier my case was mentioned as '1st listing', '2nd listing', likewise. But now it mentioned as 'nmd case'. What it means? What is the difference?

Dear Querist,

"NMD" case means that your matter will be listed only on Tuesday of a week. As per latest circular issued, Monday-Friday remains to be Misc. Days for fresh matters, Tuesday becomes NMD day and Wednesday & Thursday become Regular days.

Trust this would suffice.

Thank you very much for your reply. Kindly enlighten me further.
Will it be listed on every tuesday. What is the difference between regular days and nmd day. In my case it was mentioned as 'for final disposal'.Is it for speedy disposal?
Thank you

The last expert who claimed to be a regular lawyer of supreme court should have attended
the the last post of the querist instead of his STANDING ANSWER 'agree with experts.'
