No passbook for registered agriculture land

hello sir,
we have no passbook for agriculture land which is registered.
now I want to sell the land.
But the officers are saying that you have to obtain a new passbook on your name before you sell it to anyone.
For new passbook application for one acre, they are charging Rs.30,000.
Is the amount correct or what is the correct amount?

There appears to be no such legal requirement. Seek the information under RTI.

Use RTI to get the procedure, fee requirement for getting new passbook and whether pass book is mandatory for selling the property.
