Noc from bank

Respected experts,
I purchased a car on a Car Loan in 2016, I have cleared my loan with interest amount now as my loan is paid I went to the bank for the NOC, and the Bank is delaying giving me NOC for the last 3-4months with fake oral reasons, what can I do now please do guide me, where can I complain against the bank for these kinds of conduct.

Complain to the bank Ombudsman. Ask the bank about the reasons for not giving the NOC using RTI.

Yes, you may file complaint before Banking Ombudsman regarding your grievance.

Hello,

You may also approach the consumer commission against the bank. Send bank legal notice and later file a consumer complaint. The commission can issue the direction to issue a loan clearance certificate.

It would be better to seek services of a local prudent lawyer for appreciation of facts / documents, professional advise and necessary proceeding.
