1. Can a govt. servent nominate to his parents in place of wife due to strained relationship ?
2. Can nomination to wife deleted in servise record wihile wife refused to live with husband ?

1. Govt servant can always change the name of nominee.
2. Yes, he can.

1) NO - for pension;
YES - for Gratuity, PF, Government Insurance Scheme

2) Nomination changed any time in favour of some other person can automatically cancel the previous nomination, if existing. Get the prescribed nomination forms, Write "REVISED" on the top, fill in the detail and submit to the DDO or HR, whosoever maintains your service book, through proper channel, get acknowledgment.
