Not providing certiified copies under rti act 2005

(Querist) 31 May 2012 This query is : Resolved 
Sir nowdays , The CPIO and FAA belonging from same office and Department are not providing Certified copies under RTI Act 2005. They are sending/providing only photocopies.Is this procedure will be treat "not providing the information ?These photocopies not having any authenticity. what can we should do?

See your application first, what u have required and obtain then file appeal before CIC/SIC.

If they have sent photocopies duly attested, it is certified copy.

What do you want? Want them to be admissible in court of law. The PIO would need to be called no matter in which manner the copies are certified.

However if they are not even attested, you can move first appeal and the CIC/ SIC as the case may be.,
