Notice period

Respected experts, I want to know what is the limitation for notice period under Tamilnadu Co operative Societies Act. Is it 30days or 60 days? Pl provide the Section number also.

Sir, our client at Karnataka has delivered some pet jars to one milk co operative society at Chennai. They have not made payments and so we need to serve them notice. The limitation period is about to lapse after two months from now. So, I wanted to get it confirmed about the limitation of notice period.

Your client's claim is one for money for goods supplied. This being a dispute between a coop. Society and third party who is not a member of the society, it does not fall under the provisions of the Coop. Society's Act. The normal period of limitation for recovery of money due will apply. Issue a demand notice as early as possible.
