Our fare amount not received

(Querist) 13 February 2013 This query is : Resolved 
"Sir one of my customer booked e-tickets from me (we are small eticket agent) They assured for payment within 15 days. After 15 days they have not attend my calls. If I visit their company always commit today within today or within two days. One of our friend told to lodge compliant in police. Is it ok..?. Is this criminal mistake..?. We effect much by this payment now."

They assured to pay some particular day through SMS / email. And requesting to book tickets.As the promise only we booked.But after that stopped booking with us. In the same time they are booking tickets from some other agents.

no u can't.but u can send him a legal notice and after that file the civil suit in the court.

There is no harm to lodge police complaint as this procedure is very speedy. Generally the opposite party immediately provides the desired relief in the name of police otherwise civil court remedy is highly time consuming and it may take at least 3 years to conclude such proceeding.
