Pagdi shop

I have a shop taken on Pagdi and I pay the rent to the landlord but there is no written agreement between us. Can I give the shop on rent to some one else and get leave and license agreement registered? Is it legal?

WHEN YOU DO NOT HAVE AGREEMENT IN YOUR FAVOR ,NO RECEIPT OF RENT EVEN,HOW CAN YOU ENTER INTO ANY AGREEMENT WITH A THIRD PERSON.

IF AT ALL, YOU CAN PASS IT ON TO A THIRD PERSON ONLY THE WAY YOU HAVE GOT IT.
THAT IS NOW YOU TAKE "PAGARI" AND GIVE UP POSSESSION IN FAVOR OF PERSON PAYING YOU PAGARI.

this is not legal unless you got the power from the landlord. I failed to understand when the landlord has taken the pagree amount why he has not been issuing the rent receipt.

Dear Sir,

I have the rent receipts but their is no formal agreement between me and the landlord as I have taken this shop on pagari, can I give the shop on rent to Someone else on leave and licence basis and get that agreement registered.
