hello,
have lost my pan card. Pls do let me know the procedure for getting new card.

Lodge an FIR with police of the region where it was lost.
Thereafter re apply through any service provider.

1) if you are aware of your pan card number you can apply online for reprint of your pan card.
2) Reprint of PAN card :

and apply for "reprint of PAN"
This application should be used when PAN has already been allotted to the applicant but applicant requires a PAN card. A new PAN card bearing the same PAN is issued to applicant.
While filling this form, applicant should not select any of the check boxes on the left margin of the form. However, the check box for Item no. 7. Address for communication will be selected by default as this address will be updated in the records of ITD.

i totally agree with Mr. Ajay set hi but it better you file a police complaint because some one may h miss use your pan card like getting Sim card or like that activities

Get a reprint of the document by applying to the service provider. It can be applied online.

I am worried as it can be missused although i have filed FIR for the same mentioning PAN no while lodging FIR. Is there any problem if it is still miss used

follow the procedure suggested by Expert Mr.Ajay Sethi in this regard. First, try to fill the form online immediately if you apprehend misuse of the Lost card.

The lodging of an FIR is not necessary to get duplicate PAN card. The simple way is that you should fill the form "Request for new PAN card Or/And Changes Or Correction PAN data" and submit it in any TIN-FC Centre in your area along with Photo Identity proof, Address proof and date of birth proof. Here, you must know your PAN number and no need to check any left side box if no correction is required.
