can a Member of a Legislative Assembly attend a meeting of a Gram Panchayat within his Constituency WITHOUT INVITATION ?

Yes, he can attend the meeting but he cannot vote.

thanks for the reply to all. but i wanted more information- the legal background that permits an MLA to attend the meeting of any Gram Panchayat within his constituency, UNINVITED AND EVEN THOUGH HE IS NOT A MEMBER OF THE SAID PANCHAYAT. Can the elected members of the Panchayat object to his attendance in the Panchayat meetings on a legal ground?
