Sir,
Iwould like to know the share of the son in a HUF property being the only son and 5 sisters my father has some own and ancesterol property and he expired in 1991
Please help me

If he has died intestate then all hs leal heirs would inherit him in equal shares.

son and daughters are entitled to equal 1/6th share in both ancestral and self acquire property of your father

ancestral if not alienated before 20-12-2004, will be divided among father ,son and all daughters equally and father's share again equally among children .if mother is alive ,she will also get a share in father's share .for own and self acquired property,mother,son and daughters take equally,after death of father.
