dear experts,
A woman who is major got married about two years back and her parents having 6 Acres of land.and she is having one sister and two brothers along with her parents. can the woman can file a suit for PARTITION in the court of law to the extent of HER SHARE that is for ONE Acre of the land.the land and the women belongs to the A.P.kindly advice in this regard.Thanq in advance.

You have not told the nature of the land means whether the same is ancestral property of your father or ancestral without which no definite reply can be given.

If the property is self-acuired property of the parents, the woman can not claim her share. Hence as advised by Shri Rajkumar Makkad, please clarify whether it is self-acquired property or inherited ancestral property.

If it is the self acquired property of her parents, she cannot claim anything now.
If is an ancestral property then, she can claim her share.
