If there are two partners in partnership. both are from Mumbai and they wish to start retail shop at banglore. then from where stamp paper for partnership Deed is to be taken. and what is the place for jurisdiction.

Stamp papers should be collected from Bangalore, and deed of partnership be done there. Jurisdiction, lies at the place of business.But, If any agreement is done n u are willing for Mumbai jurisdiction, then can also be taken in ur agreement, but there head-office of ur business is to be mentioned.

Since both the partners are from Mumbai and the partnership property situates at Bangalore the stamp paper can be purchased from either of the places. Similarly court of either of the cities would have jurisdiction to adjudicate the partnership disputes depending upon the nature of dispute. Since your partnership would be of trading nature, it is advisable to get the partnership Registered.

No fresh stamp paper for the execution of the partnership are required at Bangluru as the partnership is already in existence and do not require to be registered afresh in each and every state wherein this partnership firm wants to spread its business.

If both the partners are from Mumbai and the partnership property situates at Bangalore the stamp paper can be purchased from either of the places. Court of either of the cities would have jurisdiction to adjudicate the dispute unless there is any point in the agreement for jurisdiction.
