Can a company have two managing partners?

If it i sunder indiancompany's act the following is the answer.
The business needs different skill set. One must be good in technical and product. Another must be good in sales and marketing. Both are important but one must make the decision. I personally believe the sales and marketing would play a big role and he should have more weight. You can call one as Managing Director and another as Executive Director. The role must be in line with their expertise. The end point is to make the business successful

Even if you make all the partners as Managing Partners - there is no legal restriction for that. Whom to make a Managing Partner is for the partners to decide. There is no restriction in the legal provisions.
Even if you make only one partner as Managing Partner - it is your internal affair. As for as the public/outsiders are concerned, he is one of the partners and his actions will bind the other partners. That's all.

Managing partner is a highest formal job title given to a senior partner in charge of a firm's overall practice, management and day-to-day operations. A managing partner is roughly equivalent to a chief executive officer of a corporation in terms of duties and responsibilities, but in a partnership or small firm and not a corporation.
A managing director is also recognised as a Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the overall success of a company. Only one managing director will be appointed by the board of directors.
