Hi All,
My passport was siezed in a 498 case and
my passport expires around Nov-2011.
The case is still on board. I would like to know:
1. As my passport deposited @ court expires in 2011, can I apply for a new passport in 2012.
2. What approach should be taken to apply for a new passport.
3. Will I need to submit my old passport to get a new passport

Approach the court with your application that your passport is duue to expire in 2011 you can renew six month earlier from the due date of expiry your court may ask for indemnity bond or surety to renewal of passport and to surrener the passport as soon as it is renewed ask your advocate to make fileapplication in the court.
