passport enquiry

Is it possible to have a smooth passport enquiry if there is any pending criminal cases or FIR filed against us. If not, then explain me how to get over such situation

Refer Point 17(a),(b) & (c) of the passport application. If a trial is pending it is however not an impediment in issuing the PP, however, non disclosure of material facts can lead to rejection and further bar you from applying for passport. Hence, mention all material facts. However, your query is silent under what sections of IPC is the case being tried against you.
