Hi,
My friend got married in 2007 and her husband’s passport has her name as Nikita Supriya Dsouza, but now she have changed her name to Surpiya Dsouza. Her old passport before marriage shows her name as Supriya Sharma (which is active till 2016), she had added Nikita due to some personal reasons. Now her husband has got an abroad opportunity and he cannot reissue his passport as he has to travel immediately. Can she use her old passport by name of Supriya Sharma to travel with him what are the documents required. Her Pan/Adhar card has her name as Supriya Dsouza except her husband’s passport all have her name as Supriya Dsouza. Please advice as she wants to travel with him.

It shall be better to personally talk in the office of Passport otherwise it may create problem for you at the relevant time of your journey.
