Payment receipt for open space

sir,
we are going to purchase property at malad , the developer is charging for the open space parking , it is their practice not to give any record for the same it is off record payment, we are paying 25lakhs for parking space, is it a huge amount , shall i take a payment receipt for the same . please guide me . is that payment receipt valid for the future legal action?

1)builder has no power to sell open car parking space . as per supreme court judgement open car parking is part of common area and cannot be sold by builder .
2) since sale by builder itself is illegal payment receipt wont help you . at most you cn asubseqnely seekfile complaint before consumer forum against the builder and ask for refund .
