Personal documentation work done by advocate

i would like to know that whether one advocate can set their own office or business for the personal documentation work nearby another Advocate office in his surrounding area and there is any terms and condition that office must be far or away from 100 meter or kilometer from another office of Advocate as per ADVOCATE ACT, 1960. OR any such kind of law regarding in this matter

yes he can . am not aware of any such restrictions .

most advocates have offices near each other

i believe that no section mentioned that distance of one office to another.

There is no such provision in the Advocates Act which prevents an advocate to constitute an office near another advocate's office.

All are unanimous & correct.Advocates Act,which prescribes every things to be done or to be avoided by any Advocate,nowhere prescribes this kind of restriction.In any case see there is always a cluster of advocates Chambers even in HC or SC premises adjoining with one another.

YES. THERE IS NO SUCH RESTRICTION. EVEN TWO OR ADVOCATES HAVE OFFICES IN THE SAME BUILDING.

Lawyers profession is not a business. No restrictions to establishing an office side by side or nearby. Advocate cannot do any business as long as he is practicing
