Personal law matters - matters relating to partition

Respected Sir,
I would like to know the
1.proceeding stages of an special Leave petition filed in supreme Court.

2.Why we say as special Leave petition,why not said as Appeal.

3.what will be the eligible criteria for a case to get admitted in supreme Court.

4.If notice served to respondents can it be treated as case got admitted or when it is said to be admitted.

5.If case gets admitted in supreme court can we say fair chance of winning the case.

6.How many years a civil case have to wait for its final Judgement approximately.
