Petition before HC for direction to Family Court

Ld Counsels,

Under what provision of law a petition can be made before the high court for setting aside a proceeding initiated by a IA before the family court.

Will a writ petiton serve the purpose in this case. The contention is that the family court has erred in law by permitting the IA.

Against the order/judgment of Family court remedies of filing appeal. revision or writ are available and same depends on nature of the case. From your query, the nature of case is not clear, thus proper reply is not possible.

You need to file revision only under the supervisory jurisdiction of the High Court
