Again, whether the original was LOST or DESTROYED?
How old is the letter/photocopy?
What bearing does the letter have in the case?
In whose custody was the photocopy?

NO! The court ought NOT to accept the photocopy. Also, the counsel for the other side shall vehemently object to the photocopy.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 01 July 2017

Refer to Rajendra Goyal-ji's answer.
What he has said is cent per cent true from the legal standpoint.

it is better to state complete facts as in some cases photocopies accepted but share your concern with the case.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 02 July 2017
Your own counsel might have produced the said document in court.
The signatory is admitting the signature.
It may help you.

Yeah! That's right S.65 (c) speaks about it. But what does it say? If you think and feel that the requirements mentioned therein are met, go ahead and take that plea....
Kumar Doab (Expert) 03 July 2017
Go ahead if the provisions of the Act are satisfied.
