My Wife filed a complaint for allegations of dowry demands in Mahila Thana Jabapur. Now case registered us 498A in Jabalpur. I lives in Jhansi. Case diary along with other docs had been transfered at my home place thana for further proceedings in the last week.
Now
(1)Which one is the place of jurisdiction of court to run a case either Jabalpur (i.e My wife place) or Jhansi(i.e.my place)?

complaint also contains some false allegations that dowry demands in jabalpur but the diary had been transfered to jhansi (i.e matrimonial home of wife). so now where my case should be trial?

Since ur wife filed case in Jabalpur only for investigation it has been forwarded to Janis after investigation by police Jabalpur court will have jurisdiction

498A: at the place, cause of action aroused.
If she claims dowry was demaned more than once, at both the places, Jurisdicion will be where she reside, and demanded amt from her parents.
If u prove, u never went to her residence, and everything happened at yr mat home, then jhansi ......
