Respected Sir/Madam,
Iam Hari residing at Bangalore. In the year 2004 i got one 1200sqft plot alloted from One reputed House building Society at Bangalore & registered the same in the year 2006. This information i updated to my father & mother.
My father also got allotted 1500sqft plot from the same House building society & registered the property in the year 2007. This information my father kept dark with me & my mother. My father also committed to his friend's son to give his allotted property to him for free of cost, But my father's friend son has to bear site charges, NOC from Society & registration charges only.As a sympathy my father did not obtain even single rupee as a brokerage from my father's friend son. The payment to the society were made through my father only.
Please Note: My father & myself got allotted from the same House building Society in bangalore.
But when my father intimated me about registering his allotted plot to my father's friend son just one week before registration. I seriously objected for my father's move, But initially to pacify me, he agreed to my words, But later on one fine day he registered his allotted plot in my father's son name.
PLease note: I got my site registered first from the society.
You please advice what could be the legal consequences on me for my innocence.
regards
Hari

3) ordinarily your father ought to have provided for your mother and willed the property to her but it is his self acquired money and he can make such bequests he deems fir

Thanks For your kind response Sir, But here we both got allotted from same House building Co-operative Society, Now the query is, Is it legal to obtain two numbers of society plots to the same family members, All these days we are unaware of legal issues, But recently in Karnataka a Senior official tendered his resignation for his portfolio due to allotment of two plots from two different Housing society to his own family members.

You have to check up the terms and conditions, eligibility for allotment with the Society.
