my friend his having some personal videos n pics in his e-mail.
one of his collegue who already know his passwword forwarded tht videos n mails to everyone in college...
wht remedy can he have??
can we sue him???
as it is confirmed tht his friend only forwarded tht video??

It shall be difficult to prove by you that he has done this offense otherwise he can be very well be sued before court of law. He has defamed your friend as well as committed and offense punishable under Cyber Crime Act. Serve him a notice to publicly apologise his offense failing which move forward.

THE SAID PERSON SEEMS TO BE CRIMINAL MINDED PERSON AND WITH KNOWLEDGE AND INTENTION HE HAS DONE SAID THING.BE TOUGH IN HANDLING SUCH PERSONS SO THAT HE SHOULD NOT REPEAT THE SAME THING IN FUTURE.
YOU MAY FILE A COMPLAINT TO THE COURT DIRECTLY OR EVEN GET THE COMPLAINT DRAFTED WITH THE HELP OF LEGAL EXPERTS AND GET THE PROCESS ISSUED AGAINST SAID PERSON IN CRIMINAL COURTS.
YOU MAY ALSO FILE CIVIL SUIT FOR DEFAMATION AND COMPENSATION AND ALSO FILE A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT FOR DEFAMATION.GOOD LUCK.

Your friend may report the same to cyber police for necessary action.FIR may be registered and necessary inquiry will be done in this regard.
