Son of a real estate tycoon attacked Tao Hotel at sector 26 Chandigarh at 2.35 AM to take revenge for having been turned out of the hotel as he was making mixture after being drunk. In the attack one of the customers who was coming out of the hotel was attacked with swords, rods etc by about 15 persons. Boy suffered injuries inflicted by sword. Index finger was chopped while he trie to defend an attack by sword on the neck. Neck also got a deep cut. Luckily the boy survived and admitted to hospital. FIR u/s 147, 148, 323, 452, 307, 506, 34 IPC regd. CCTV proves the attack. Four persons arrested. Police is favoring them, trying to dilute the case. Other co accused not arrested. Suggest how do we make police to conduct impartial investigation and book the culprits.

Thankyou very much for your response. The accused persons being very well connected and on meeting the high officials, they are advising to muster media and poublic support, rather than taking any action upfront. Apart from meeting higher ups, what is the legal remedy available. Discussed this issue with many senior lawyers, but no concrete strategy could be worked outin this regard. Not able to decide on course of action. May be the expert at this portal can suggest some concrete steps to be taken. Thanks.

You may file a writ for Police Inaction in High Court. It may create pressure on Police.
