sir, i have been working in a private company out of india since 4 year , i got a job offer from center govt. of india on compansated ground, now my department is going to fill police verification form and in that they are asking detail of my resident in abrore also the employeee name and address, so i am afraid to mention that does police will be go to ask about mw in out of india as i donot do any think wrong in my life but i just quit that job, so please advice me is any problem if i mention my resident address and other information .

Police verification, as a part of verification of character and antecedents of the applicant, is a must in connection with a Government job. Police would verify and confirm the correctness of only the facts provided by you. Any wrong detail, or fact hidden by you, if detected by police can harm your own interest, if the police reports that. Otherwise, normally police verification is a type of confirmation of the facts provided by you and does not have any adverse effect on your job, unless you are found to be involved in any criminal or anti-social activities.
You can get appointment only after completion of police verification process, which does not take much time.
