sir my gather father have land property which is ancestral property. he want to give the power of attorney to my father . can he do this?

why do you say it is ancestral ? grand father can give power of attorney to your father as far as his share is concerned

Any person can give POA to his son in respect of any kind of property to the extent he owns.If power to transfer immovable property is to be given then POA deed should be registered.
